On August 28, 2017 Lyndon township published a call for volunteers to be part of a committee to oversee the construction and implementation of the fiber to the home broadband project approved by township residents. This resulted in 15 township residents submitting applications. The township was very impressed by the number of applicants and the high level of knowledge in the Information Technology and related fields that woud be valuable for the success of the project. As a result, the township selected an Implementation Committee of 6 members and formed six sub committees to capture the expetise of all interested residents.
