Work completed 4/26/2020 through 5/2/2020:

• Continued H&M pedestal and hand hole tasks not related to fiber placement or splicing (Bruin PON)
• Completed reconfiguring and/or repairing splicing and pedestal prep in Boyce PON
• Completed testing in Boyce PON
• Completed mainline fiber installation in Long Lake PON.
• Pulled fiber in Wild Goose PON
• Spliced 29 home drops in CO PON east of M-52 (totals to date: 234 spliced – 89 in Werkner PON, 66 in Island Lake PON and 79 in Central Office PON)
• Completed 0 new home self-installations on Roepke Road and South Lake Road in Central Office PON (totals to date: 189 with broadband – 87 in Werkner PON, 63 in Island Lake PON and 39 in Central Office PON)

• Continue H&M pedestal and hand hole tasks not related to fiber placement or splicing (Bruin, Joslin and Ellsworth PONs)
• Finish pulling fiber in Wild Goose PON
• Begin to reconfigure and/or repair splicing and pedestal prep in Sugarloaf PON
• Complete remaining home drops on South Lake Drive (Central Office PON)
• Begin home drops in Sugarloaf PON
• Begin to splice home drops in Boyce PON
• Conduct major re-splice in Central Office PON cabinet (Note: Planned maintenance outage for some customers on May 6.)
• Work with home owners on viable home self-installations (Note: MEC to re-start home installations on May 11.)

There are four basic phases of work in bringing internet service to your home:

• Mainline Fiber Installation
• Drop Installation (bringing fiber cable from the road to the side of each home)
• Home Installation (bringing fiber into you home and attaching to network router)
